Got even more done today around the house! Ray spent most of the day doing housework - vacuuming, cleaning windows, cleaning floors, cleaning bathroom etc etc. I got the jif onto the kitchen and shined up the stainless steel appliances etc, scrubbed Charlotte's high chair, washing, stacks of ironing and folding. I said to Ray, "all we need to do now, is go and stay in a Motel until the baby arrives, then we can come home to a clean house" LOL The house already looks untidy again, thanks to Charlotte!
So - what's happening in the next couple of weeks?
Monday 5th - we are going to discuss baby names, and I have to 'teach' Ray how to look after Charlotte!
Tuesday 6th - have a Hospital appointment (waste of time!)
Friday 9th - Ray's last day at work!
Sunday 11th - Mother's day awwww
Monday 12th - Mum and Dad are thinking of coming up
Tuesday 13th - waiting all day for news of Susan's (from EB) new arrival! Yay!
Haven't updated on weight for a while (a few days LOL). As of this morning I have gained 3.3kgs. I was getting really worried, as the weight seemed to be coming on awfully quick, but I seem to have plateaued a bit now. Surely I can't gain too much in the next 2 weeks!
Pregnancy complaints - most of my pain is to do with my pelvis. It is so painful - and something as simple as getting out of bed in the morning hurts - I just seem to stiffen up bad. It takes me a minute just to straighten up, then take that first step, then shuffle for a while until I loosen up. Yeeeouch. I just have to keep thinking - I only have to put up with this for another few weeks!
My belly is also very tender - I can't really remember if I felt the same way with Charlotte. If I bend over to pick something up, and stand up again, my belly feels all cramped up. BH are painful too - when DD comes and jumps at me during a BH I just want to scream!
I think bub's head is either engaged, or right down low. Lot of sharp stabbing pain, and alot of pressure on my cervix. Sometimes it feels as though the BH are pushing bub right down on my cervix. Also sometimes if I press down on the top of my belly, I get pressure on my cervix. I have a feeling that when I go into labour, things will happen pretty fast.
It is also quite strange - I don't feel as huge as I was. I felt like I was sticking right out front, but now feel a bit more compact. I just hope that doesn't mean bub is now posterior - do NOT want another posterior labour!
Ok, very tired and just rambling now, so off to bed.
*Bubba, stay put at least until my Mum and Dad come up - you are welcome to arrive any time after that!*
