Well, went to the lactation consultant on Friday - on their scales she was 3.13kgs - so 400g under her birth weight still. We went through everything and decided on a plan of action. We went back to the LC today - still exactly 3.13kgs - no gain in 3 days. They give babies about 3 weeks to gain back the weight they lost in the first few days - she is 3 weeks today, and should be about 3.6kgs!
So my poor girl has been starving! So from today we are topping her up with formula, but not from a bottle - just using a dropper so she doesn't get nipple/teat confusion.
Since we got home, she has had 2 feeds and 2 top ups (one formula, one expressed milk) and has slept soundly between them both - just give her a feed, wrap her up, then into the bassinet. I haven't been able to do that at all so far!
I also made some lactation cookies yesterday arvo - they are supposed to boost your milk supply, and I actually think they might be working! I can express twice the amount than before I started having them - 10ml instead of 5ml *boohoo* I hate my boobs!
So tomorrow - off to the doc - going to get my thyroid checked to see if that is affecting my milk, and going to check Jaida's blue hands and feet - 2 nurses commented on her blue hands, so they want to get her checked.
Oh and another problem - she has tongue tie *boohoo* so we have to look into possibly getting that fixed.

love all the photos the girls are so cute miss them too.dont recognise the pink dress not the one you had it was plainer and shiny. jaida seems to have changed a bit since we saw her. love you all lots look forward to seeing the blog and catching up love mum and dad
