Dadda got some lollies out last night, so Charlotte was hanging around for one - then Jaida thought she would like to get in on the action - she has no idea what a lolly is - but just had to have them LOL

First tooth!

Can just see the tip of Jaida's first tooth! It is on the bottom. I thought we might see a tooth soon - she was quite grumpy at times - not happy while eating - shoving her hand in her mouth and has been attached to her dummy. So finally! A tooth!

7 months already!

I know I say it all the time, but Jaida is growing up too quickly! Why couldn't my baby stay a baby for a while longer!?!

She had meat for the first time last night - some chicken - she seemed to like it! I can't even remember when you are supposed to start them on meat!?! Oh and she tried yoghurt for the first time today - loved it!

Jaida is such a good girl - she is great at playing on her own - happily crawls around the house checking everything out - sleeps really well (2 day naps and all night) - eats well - and such a happy little chicken.

I know, I know - it's about time!

Jaida sat on her own for the first time very early, but didn't want to really attempt sitting again, as rolling and crawling was better! But a few weeks ago she started sitting really well. Now she crawls, sits, plays, crawls off again, sits, plays - nothing stopping her now!

I was fighting with myself about this for weeks - Jaida isn't 12kgs yet, but I didn't want her staring at the roof of the car screaming for 8-9 hours while travelling, so turned her early. Not the brightest thing I have ever done, but was pleased I did it in the end - I had to turn around so much to re-plug dummies, give toys, offer amusement! First time forward facing:

Jaida pulled herself to standing the first time, properly, a few weeks ago - now she is starting to cruise furniture *cry* she really is growing up too fast!



Jaida must have thought it was funny when I turned around in the car to check on her - this is the face I would get all the time



The 'Coona cheeks' as I call them LOL Everytime we go to Coona it is freezing and the girls get red cheeks!
